Truffle Tuesday, Oh, It's Wednesday

Good day from snowy NYC.... I love waking up to snow, but before I yammer on about that or anything, let me remind you that there's a new episode of Top Design on tonight followed by a live "Watch What Happens" here at Bravotv.com. Tonight I'll be joined by tonight's eliminated interior designer along with Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi. If you have any lingering Chef questions, tonight is your night!

Speaking of chefs, on Monday night I went to the white-hot Waverly Inn with some friends. The Waverly Inn is the In Place right now, the restaurant that's in the New York Post every single day with reportage about who sat where and what happened.

The Waverly began in the 1920s and has been that cozy hole-in-the-wall pub around the corner from my house that I often walked by, thought about going into, and never did. Vanity Fair Editor Graydon Carter took it over a few months ago and now it's a parade of Black SUVs and paparazzi waiting out front.

It was a freezing Monday night so I figured that it wouldn't be too crazy inside. I was incorrect.

Graydon Carter was in the house with a group of friends -- always a good sign to have the restaurant's owner there. So was William Morris Honcho Jim Wiatt. Natasha Richardson was there and so was Harvey Weinstein. So much for a low-key Monday. When Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones walked by to kiss Graydon's ring, it turned into the Vanity Fair after after party.
