Was Tim Gunn Flirting With Me?

20070315_gunn_320x240.jpgLast night we had a blast on the set of "Watch What Happens" with Sir Tim Gunn and later'd designer Erik Kolacz. How could we have less than a blast with Tim in the house? Check it out for yourself!

I had dressed UP (in a suit) for Sir Tim, who is usually in a suit himself. Tim dressed DOWN (in jeans and turtleneck) for me, the one usually in jeans. It was upside down day and I would say that we discussed the variables involved in that reverse-dressing hijinx on four occasions last night for :45 each time, one of which was on the show, all to perhaps no one's amusement but our own.

Nina Garcia was our first celebrity caller on the other end of the white hot "Watch What Happens" game, "Who's on the Phone?!" It was a hoot to have Nina on the horn and I think Sir Tim was really surprised.

Garcia is nine months pregnant and stuck in bed and says she's become a total Bravo addict. She says she loves "Top Design" and has gotten sucked into "Work Out"! Why is the idea of Nina watching a "Work Out" marathon fascinating to me? She is watching the "Housewives" but I forgot to ask which housewife is her favorite and now I won't sleep until I get the answer.

I'd had lunch yesterday with a friend who works within the Elle Dynasty who reported that Nina looks as fantastic preggers as she does on a normal Tuesday. He layed out which specific body parts look amazing, which I relayed to Nina on last nght's show. As I relayed said information it dawned on me that I could be wandering into offensive or innapropriate waters. Not to worry. Garcia is a sport and a champ, and what lady has a problem with a compliment?

I have a suggestion for a guest on an upcoming show... how about Matt O’Brien from the "Assistant's Blog?" His posts are HILLARIOUS and I'd love to see him give some of his behind the scenes scoops "in person."
