It is raining like krazy this morning and I feel like watching the Olympics under some 'shmere and pondering Bob Costas' hair.

The beach was a triumph this weekend...

Saturday afternoon Troy asked me if I was going to the benefit for Madonna's charity. I told him I was going as a friend's plus-one to a party for Mariah's marriage. We were bemused in the realization that there were competing diva parties within one mile of each other.

I was quietly speculating that if Madge was going to a charity thing then she'd certainly stop by the Mariah thing when she was through. This was based on zero info or intel.

I can't blog about the Mariah affair because it just wouldn't be cool. There was a lot to blog about and Mimi was there and I guess they are very in love. As I am writing this, I am realizing that I haven't seen the videos for my two favorite tracks off those ladies' albums, from EM2 - "I'll Be Loving You Long Time" and from HARD CANDY - "Give it 2 Me".
