I saw "Milk" last night and I SHOULD be writing a state of the gay rights movement blog but that wouldn't be fair to the real stars of today, our Atlanta and OC "Housewives"... So before I get to "Milk" let me first present my chat with NeNe and OC's Vicki, featuring an amazing cameo from Bravo big Boss Lauren Zalaznick!

So what do you think of that video?? And how about LZ's cameo? That is what you might call "reality".


So let's get back to "Milk". The film is a triumph for Sean Penn, and it is nothing short of incredible to watch given what's happening with Prop 8 in California and with the reawakening of activism across the country. It is an emotional, fascinating story.

And now that I have seen the film, I need to see the great documentary "The Mayor of Castro Street". I have only heard over and over that it is one of the great documentaries you'll ever see. I also need to do a little check-in with the hateful Anita Bryant to see where her head is at these days. Amongst all the footage of la Bryant in the film, I wonder why they didn't show her pie-in-the-face press conference moment.. Hmm.

By the way, was Anita the first "Real Housewife"?? Uh oh!
