There have been googlefulls of stories about Nene losing her home in the last 24 hours, so I emailed the "Real Housewife of Atlanta" to get to the bottom of the story. Here's what she said:

"The recent rumors alleging that my family faced an eviction are a huge misunderstanding and grossly inaccurate. I am truly blessed to enjoy a wonderful life and lifestyle. We have indeed moved to another home, but we did so on our own free will. We live in an absolutely beautiful home and we are fortunate to be able to live in the place of our choice. Unfortunately, there are many families who are facing real foreclosures and real evictions. That is not and never was the case with us. I know where we live and how we live, and for those blessings I am humbly thankful. It is disappointing that many members of the media have chosen to report gossip instead of news. Without wasting time on the details, the only thing I will say is that we were NOT evicted. Everybody knows that I like to be honest, real and upfront. If something was wrong, I would tell you! Thank you for your well wishes. However, please know that my family continues to be abundantly blessed, and that Miss NeNe has not skipped a beat!"

We broke format on "Top Chef" last night a little bit with that kinda weird but ultimately fun elimination challenge. I got a big kick out of watching the TODAY crew eating Ariane, Jeff, and Fabio's dishes with all the chefs watching. The TODAY people were great to deal with and really worked through some intense coordination to make the timing work for us under rough deadlines.

Here's some headline news: I think Kathie Lee was playing to the camera. I know that will come as a shock to you all. Maybe it was me.

I hate the Rock Center Christmas tree. It f's everything up in the city. We are clogged. We are stuck. We are in gridlock. We cannot MOVE. We are beholden to this freaking TREE that is surrounded by LEMMINGS who are STANDING there and can't MANEUVER around each other because they had too many fake eggs at chain restaurants like First Watch. People in this country need to lose weight, by the way - me included.
