Congratulations to the last lady standing, Miss Holly. I love it that she won with that huge hairpiece on. America made her super, who else can you say that about?
Now on to some quite pressing matters, viewer mail:
Last night, former TOP CHEF host Katie Lee Joel was toasted at the Hudson Hotel book party for her new cookbook, THE COMFORT TABLE. It’s an unpretentious and beautiful book full of the West Virginia home cooking that made that girl who she is today.
Gail Simmons was there looking beautiful. I love her. I think her nickname from now on should be "peppermint". I don't know why.
I stuffed my face with KLJ treats like fiesta wontons, macaroni and cheese, and these thin patty melt-like hamburgers that Katie calls Logan County hamburgers.
There were a lot of Smart People - and even more dumb people - at last night's Cinema Society do for the premiere of "Smart People".
The movie’s stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Dennis Quaid and Ellen Page watched the flick along with a diverse crowd of crazies including: Liza Persky, Jane Fonda, Dr. Amanda Baten, Matthew Broderick, Marc Shaiman, Scott Wittman, Bonnie Franklin, Ellen Barkin, Jessica Seinfeld, Paul Cavaco, Rachel Dratch, Rocco DiSpirito, Daniel V, Charlotte Rae, Marci Klein, Eric Hughes, Bravo's James Lipton, Serge Normant, Ina Treciokas, Linda Wells, Donna Karan and a shitload of others.
Oh and Charlotte Rae wasn't there but I wish she was. And Bonnie Franklin wasn't there either. (I guess I kind of wish she was too.)
The movie is great and deep and character-y and literate and funny and essentially about some screwed up relationships. It’s not dumbed down and it is for adults, so that's a change. And I liked the soundtrack.
Jane Fonda looks ferosh, did I say that? I am talking about an amazing looking woman. Whatever cocktail of medical confections she's had has settled and worked into perfection.
What is it about Bronnie that makes me want to stick out my tummy when I am between them? That's what I can't help but wonder when I look at this sad picture. One of these things is not like the other...
It’s all about Bronnie on tonight's "Make Me A Supermodel" Reunion show. I'm talking about Ben and Ronnie, of course. And you KNOW that Bravotv.com made Bronnie T-shirts, which I present the couple tonight on the show.
And you know that they're for sale right here at Bravotv.com. By the way, I literally may buy one.
OK chitlins, I know y'alls are freaking because tonight's episode of Real Housewives of New York City is hilarious and dishy and fun. And I know you are wondering WTF to do with yourselves in the meantime. Might I suggest schlepping to your local bookstore and buying the new Top Chef cookbook? It is ferosh, and here's a video in two parts to give you a taste!

Hey y'all. I am on a plane to LA so I am leaving you with a video of me answering some viewer e-mails ....
I hosted the Make Me a Supermodel reunion yesterday and felt like I was 72 years old with those kids. None of them know what The Love Connection is. Is that THAT old of a reference?! ANYWAY, it'll be a good show next Thursday. (And last night's episode of Supermodel was KICK ASS, if you ask me ....)
We had an amazing goodbye dinner for Bravo exec Amy Introcaso-Davis last night. Man is that lady going to be missed. Ugh. I can't bear it. She precedes me bigtime and is responsible for making Bravo da shit. She's heading to Oxygen. Tori Spelling on line 2, Amy!
