Celebs from stage and screen are being cast in the not-so-eagerly-anticipated revival of “Les Misérables” on Broadway.
The show only closed — after 16 (long) years — three years ago.
Kudos to openly gay and crazy-talented Gary Beach (“The Producers” on stage and screen) who will be Thenardier, the greedy innkeeper. Big kiss to “Rent” icon Daphne Rubin-Vega who will be Fantine, the dying mum. Rubin-Vega was sorely missed in the film version of "Rent" because she was too pregnant to revive her role.
Performances begin in October.
