Gay Celebs Crush Straights

20061219_pa_260x220.jpgFaithful readers or one-time-visitors to OUTzone have probably seen our Sexiest 2007 poll. It's almost done. The results are now secret while people cast their final ballots. And the winner will be announced in InTouch magazine the first week of Janaury. Fabulous-fantastic Pedro Almodovar is in the running, but truth be told, is not getting many votes for his creative-sexiness.

But the most fascinating aspect of this whole excercise for us here at OZ is in the details. Easily twice as many people have voted in the Gay Celebrity category than anything else. Gay Friendly Celebritys and regular-joe-and-jill Gays of the Day have not inspired half as much interest.

We think this is not only noteworthy -- but awesome! Look at how far we've come as gay people. Look how many of our favorite gay personalities did not make the list because there are now just too many cool gays to choose from. Also, there are so many out gay celebrities that we could pick the sexiest, not just the most outspoken or bold, the ones that have made the most change. We can be as fun and "sexy" as we want and celebrate their beauty, both physical and intellectual.

So that's something all of us at OUTzoneTV.com is celebrating this holiday season. And we thank all of our readers.
