Francois Ozon to Close Berlin Fest

Move over Robert De Niro, Clint Eastwood and Steven Soderbergh. We only care that awesome gay director Francoise Ozon (Water Drop on Burning Rocks (so gay sexy), 8 Women) has been tapped to premiere his film Angel as the closing night film at next month’s festival.

The film stars Charlotte Rampling as an author who climbs to the upper echelons of British society (or at least that’s how Variety is reporting it).

The most important part is that these two icons have made two previously great films, The Swimming Pool (so lesbian sexy) and Under the Sand.

And, hot hot hot actor Sam Neil co-stars.

Also on tap for Berlin is a film by Andre Techine (who made the sexy(!) gay Wild Reeds). He’s returning with a film about the emergence of AIDS in the early 80s starring Emmanuelle Beart.

Okay, can we go to Berlin now?
