Gay American Idol ... Psych!

But he is a gay Australian Idol. Wouldn’t it be nice if America could have a gay “American Idol?”
Until then, let us join hands and celebrate the coming out of Australia’s Idol star – and now certifiable Down Under Pop Star – Anthony Callea.
Because of the time change, he actually comes out tomorrow (!) in Australian newspapers. Read the full story here.
He was accidentally outted by a radio host, but says he was about to come out anyway. We don’t really care what inspired the coming out. It’s just good that he’s so cool about it. To the Daily Telegraph he said, “Yes, I am gay.''
"I have no issue with my sexuality now, but it's taken time to become confident with who I am and happy with who I am. I'm looking forward to living a life with no barriers and not have to worry about saying the right thing.''
One word: Awesome. Okay, two words, the second is Congratulations!
