Great-Lame Publicity for Richard Renaldi

As the divorce between ex-governor of New Jersey James McGreevey and Dina Matos McGreevey gets nasty: gay art wins!

Okay, so that’s kinda funny. But true.

While Dina Matos McG. takes a turn in the spotlight with the release of her book, one of the tabloid-loving salacious tales involves how she made the ex-gov remove a photograph of a naked man from his bedroom, which he now shares with his partner.

The photograph is by very talented photographer Richard Renaldi, who also took the classy photo of James McG. that was on the cover of his biography/memoir “The Confession.”

We’ve spent quite a bit of time researching Mr. Renaldi and have to say: Love, Love, Love the work. Sexy and sterile. Formal and emotional. Not groundbreaking work, but there is a series that is hard to find of Richard R. and his boyfriend/partner (we’re not sure how long they’ve been together or what they call each other) but they’re in different hotel rooms.


This series of photos is amazing and we want to buy all of them. How many times have we been in that same in-between zone (in life and in a hotel room) so accurately captured. Enjoy these photos.
