You wouldn’t have guessed it after his delectable turn as James Bond in last year’s Casino Royale but Daniel Craig has gone a little flabby.
The Bond hunk told reporters at the Cannes Film Festival that he had let himself go a little since putting himself through a tough fitness regimen for last year’s update of the renowned film franchise.
''I had some down time,'' the 39-year-old actor said Monday. ''I got to enjoy myself a bit. I'm getting back into shape now, I'm kind of building myself up again.''
According to PR-Inside.com, Cannes reporters were shocked when Craig appeared heavier than his beefcake Bond.
Craig said the script for next Bond film, not yet titled, hasn't been finalized.
''Casino Royale,'' his first appearance as 007, ''was very successful,'' Craig said. ''But I know it's only as good as the next one's going to be. We have to make the next one, I think, better than the last one to keep people happy.''
