So who is British, wears pink feathers, is gay all over? Elton John is the wrong answer. A pair of gay flamingo couple has adopted an abandoned chick and will raise it as their own.

"If there aren't enough females or they don't hit it off with them, they will pair off with other males," said Jane Waghorn, spokesperson for the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust (WWT) in Slimbridge near Bristol, England.
According to an article on Yahoo! news the same-sex couple, Carlos and Fernando, have been together for 6 years now and have been trying to adopt for a long time.
"[They] have been known to steal other flamingos' eggs by chasing them off their nest because they wanted to rear them themselves," Waghorn said.
Interesting … the Madonna approach.
