We haven’t kept up much with Anne since her … and we aren’t afraid to say it … exploitive lesbian phase. We had some earlier cause to believe that she might start playing on the girl’s team again but now it seems as if Mrs. Heche has bigger fish to fry.
Involved in an ugly divorce proceeding with her estranged spouse Coley Laffoon, which includes child custody rights of their 5-year old son Homer, Anne is being accused of “at times … bizarre and delusional behavior for which she refuses to seek professional help.”
Currently starring in the ABC series “Men In Trees,” the actress detailed her mental illness problems in the 2001 autobiography, “Call Me Crazy.” There was also that infamous incident in Fresno when the star was found high as a kite and babbling about boarding a space ship.
According to TVGuide.com, Ellen’s old flame hasn’t taken kindly to her soon to be ex-husband’s accusations, charging back with court filings that counter Laffoon has failed to seek employment since leaving his videographer job to play stay-at-home dad, and “has resorted to lies with the court because Anne would not cave in to his astronomical money demands.”
Laffoon worked on a documentary about Ellen’s stand-up comedy return, which is where he met and started a relationship with Anne.
