Lead singer Jake Shears of the Scissor Sisters has decided to share about his writing process -- maybe even sharing too much.
The queer front man finds the bathroom to be an inspiring place when looking to pen a new song for the band. Specifically Jake enjoys the shower to get his lyrical blood pumping.
“I write stuff in my head in the shower. I just rub myself down and the lyrics keep on coming.”
What an interesting choice of words for dear old Jake. Shears also provides some interesting insight into what responsibility, if any, a gay singer has to sing about gay things.
