Sting & David Bowie Do Burlesque

David Bowie is 60 years old; Sting is 55. It’s amazing though how rock stars never seem to age past 40 in the public’s eye (Mick and Keith being the notable exceptions).
Pr-Inside.com reports that the two ageless rock gods have bought former Manhattan mafia haunt Little Charlie’s Clam Bar and plan to launch an exotic striptease nightspot similar to Forty Deuce’s in L.A.
In fact Ivan Kane, who is responsible for the Forty Deuce’s burlesque chain, is also involved in the club venture, reported to cost $4 million to build.
Kane said: “It’s a done deal, they are the two main partners.”
The pair of musicians confirmed their involvement in the business venture but will not be expected to manage the club. They are primary investors.
The New York strip spot is expected to launch in the fall and will feature live jazz and exotic dancers who cover their naughtiness on stage with feather boas, fans, and jewel-encrusted panties.
