Film Exposes Gay Homelessness

OurChart -- which is the lesbian version of MySpace, which is the “webcam strippers” version of Virb, which is the “bands you’ve never heard of and never will” version of OurChart -- is doing something pretty cool, actually.
Pinknews.co.uk has the story on a unique new documentary, called "My Address: a Look at Gay Youth Homelessness." The documented series, hosted by the awesome (awesome!) Katherine Moennig who plays Shane on “The L Word,” takes a hard look at the growing epidemic of gay and lesbian homelessness.
The 5-part series looks at people from the Hetrick-Martin Institute, America’s biggest non-profit dedicated to GLBTQ teens and has already been viewed over 300,000 times.
As for OurChart, if you’ve never heard of it then it’s probably because the site only made their debut in January. But so far so good …
“It is exciting to see how quickly OurChart’s traffic has taken off and is increasing every week,” said Hilary Rosen, President of OurChart.
