NY Approves Gay Marriage Bill

We usual dabble in the celebrity here at OUTzone but today we bring some stone cold news. But it’s good stone cold news. After a lengthy debate, The New York state Assembly has voted to approve gay marriage legislation.
NDTV.com reports the decision came after a 3-hour debate over the same-sex legislation, sponsored by Democrat Daniel O’Donnell. If the last name sounds familiar it’s because -- you guessed it -- Daniel is the gay brother of dear old Rosie.
Daniel O’Donnell spoke out on the compromise of civil unions.
“It will not provide equality for people like me,” he said.
A statewide Quinnipiac Institute poll found an equal percentage of registered voters who support gay marriage and who support civil union but not gay marriage.
