Finally is the delightful Russell P. Marleau comedy The Curiosity of Chance whose tagline is “The only way he could fit in was to stand out.” The movie is about an already “out” teenage boy who recruits an eccentric ensemble of friends to help him lay down the law on a homophobic high school bully.
Sunday July 22nd at the Ford Amphitheatre is Awards Night for the brash new film Itty Bitty Titty Committee. The comedy is an early-90’s riot grrrl inspired tale about an all American girl and her hook up with the radical feminists who comprise the Itty Bitty Titty Committee. The soundtrack is pure indie rock heaven, including songs from Le Tigre and the film perceptively blends feminist revolt with optimism and romance.
