"OMG, Judith Light hugging Tori Spelling!"
"What do we think of the Perez Hilton orange hair?"
"Theodore Leaf looks like my (hot) imaginary boyfriend. Should I mention?"
"Cast of 'Queer as Folk' is here. Someone pounce."
"The LA gays don't wear nearly as much black as NY gays ... thoughts?"

The festival kicked off with a screening of Save Me -- starring Chad Allen, Robert Gant and the unbelievable Judith Light. As expected, Bill Condon was honored with the Outfest Lifetime Achievement Award for his direction of movies like Gods and Monsters, Kinsey, Chicago, and Dreamgirls. Pioneer lesbian filmmaker Barbara Hammer was also honored with the first ever OUTfest platinum award.
