William Sledd fans (and we know you're out there), set your Tivos for tonight, when the biggest thing to come out of Kentucky since the mint julep will be on national television.
Sledd, known around these parts for his overly-honest and always entertaining "Ask A Gay Man" vlog, will be featured on the new ABC show, "i-Caught". The show presents the biggest hits of the internet, and after millions of hits on youtube.com, William is definitely among the internet's elite.
In an interview with ABC.com, Sledd talks about his growing popularity, and his accidental celebrity. He also discusses his growing up gay in small town America:
"I think it's really big for people to see that I live in a small town and I'm gay and I don't care and I'm not afraid. I think it shows them, 'Hey, I could do that'." So, during Pride Month, he asked fans to, "Leave a video response, even if its two seconds. Everybody come out. Show your pride!" In no time at all, hundreds of video clips from around the world started pouring in.
So be sure to check out our own William Sledd as he makes an appearance on prime time tonight. One thing is certain: you can count on him to not disappoint.
