James Franco's really going for the gay parts lately. Not that we mind. Heck we're elated. But with Gus Van Sant's upcoming Milk, in which he plays Harvey's partner Scott Smith and the intense gayness of Pineapple Express (we'll be posting a review of that soon), Franco is going for the gay gold.
Anyhow, the Allen Ginsberg biopic will focus on the 50's obscenity trial that tried to censor the book-length poem, Howl. Mary Louise-Parker, Paul Rudd, Jeff Daniels and Alan Alda are also cast in the film.
