Geeze. Of all people to condemn "people sticking it wherever and doing it with whatever," as he puts it. And he told this to The New Yorker! Who does he think buys his records and dresses like him for Halloween?! Wait, do we sound totally outraged? Oh, that because we are. The LA Times actually did most of our reporting for us and they make several good points involving Tipper Gore and the lyrics to "Controversy." For our part, we'd like to point to these lyrics:

Apparently, Prince says he was taken out of context. Or at least Perez Hilton says Prince's friend says he was taken out of context, or whatever. The New Yorker, however, sticks by their version.
