20060825_jesse3_260x220.jpgYesterday, one of our OUTzone writers had the distinct pleasure of interviewing Jesse from the summer hit "Work Out." Jesse turns out to be the most charming person in the whole wide world. We caught up with him while he was running errands and he talked to us about training, pastry, and his dating life.

So "Work Out" definitely got a pretty serious audience. There was a lot of buzz and press and people jabbering about the lot of you. How's that been going?

The whole thing has definitely been a little bit of a life change as far as people noticing me and people approaching me. Which is pretty funny. Oddly enough, the biggest change has been the traffic to my MySpace page.

Do you get approached a lot?

Most people who have approached me have been lesbians who are trying to meet Jackie. And, actually, a lot of teenage girls. I think now that "Will and Grace" is over, all these girls want their own Will. And it's a gap they're hoping I can fill. Seeing myself everywhere is different. I'm seeing myself on billboards and magazines and stuff, which is awesome but weird at the same time. Before the show, I thought I was going to be a pastry chef. But since this, things have really changed and opened up.

You were a pastry chef?

I was in a French cooking school. I graduated from Cordon Bleu and I was in the last three weeks of school when "Work Out" started filming. I was also a teacher's assistant in the baking program. So I came on as the fat kid.

OMG! Jesse has way more personality than I thought. This is such an awesome interview. I don't care what people say about him--he's by far the coolest person on the show. I so want to be friends with him now.

god &@#^%it! A trainer AND pastry chef? Why why why are the cool ones all gay?

I'm glad this whole femme/butch thing came up-its so over. so mid '90's. How femmy could Jesse be if his training philospohy includes: first session ends when client throws up?

I love Jessie!! I think he's a wonderful role model and yes I would marry him if I could!! Man I hope people aren't criticizing him as being anything but a really awesome guy. seriously, watching him on Workout has really inspired me and gives me, a young guy in the middle of nowhere (right next to Idaho/MT ICK!!), hope for what he has. I really like him and I hope he does more in the career...as far as I'm concerned...he deserves everything!!! PS will there be a season 2?!

What a way to find out wierd things but I really dont want to hear about all of that. I want to know the strange things like:

"What do you wear when you're alone at home?"
--or--
"What is under your bed right now?"
--or--
"When was the last time you showered?"

Thats the kinda thing I wanna know about.

Ciao!!

Jesse...what can I say? You are who I want to be with - forever! Having recently come out (at a pretty young age), I agree with the whole femme/butch division. I'm neither, I'm both, WHATEVER! Why can't a man just be a man? Anyway, back to Jesse. You keep me hooked on the show and...well...thanks =)
Love you TONS!
