Do you have a halloween costume all ready to go?
I don’t, but I’ve seen that several people say that they’d like to go as me for Halloween. Look, I’m really big. I am large. I’m due in four weeks, and normally Halloween is where we go all-out in this family. I have several latex dresses that I’ve made over the years. I have those contact lenses that white out your eye balls.
What’s everyone else going as?
My boys buy costumes, they don’t let me make them. They buy several costumes over what we call the “Halloween Season” and then they choose at the last minute. My boys like costumes in general. The little ones are into Spiderman and Superman. Those kind of things. I like to wear scary costumes. The sort of creepy, scary kinda thing. But the little ones like to be superheroes.
You’ve talked about a line of patterns for moms. How’s that going?
I’m really just gathering ideas at the moment. I really think that I’d like to reach a broader audience, that’s not just a high-end Bergdorf Goodman kind of line. I really think that the direction I need to go is that I need to reach out to women and tell them that they can add glamour to their lives. And I think that patterns are a great way for anyone to feel better about themselves.
