Although I have more than enough to dish about Fashion Week (which happened here last week), I thought I’d take a moment and answer some of the questions that have been left on the message boards of my blogs for the past few weeks! Ranging from dress codes to marriage proposals. I’ll do my best to tackle some of the most intense, in-depth questions ever known to man … and I thought the Dali Llama had it hard!
I want to look like those models in Details, but only spend what it cost to buy the magazine. How can we make that happen?
Posted by Corey
Dear Corey -- Wow, this is a tough one. If ever a fashionista is craving the latest couture on an outlet mall budget, my advice is simple: Choose wisely. Invest your hard-earned dollars in pieces that are timeless and chic: A ¾-length wool overcoat, a great fitting pair of navy slacks, a crisp button-down shirt with an unobtrusive stripe or check, etc. Pieces such as this work great on their own -- but even better when paired together -- and even better when styled in a smart way. Grab the latest fashion mag, open to one of your favorite spreads and take garments you already own, have purchased in discount stores or on sale, and style your look the same way. I bet none of your friends will notice that your new $5 Hanes long sleeve tee isn’t the $60 Calvin Klein version … but they will notice how great you look when you’re as put-together as the boys in those fancy magazines.
Boys wear bronzer? Is it true??
Posted by: Bernice
Bernice -- Though bronzer hasn’t hit such horrible epidemic proportions as say, Crocs or Uggs, it’s still prevalent in the seedy underbelly that is fashion, particularly with the gays. Remember last year when every Hollywood starlet (and wanna-be) popped in a spray booth before walking on a red carpet...well, like every bad trend it takes some time to fully get rid of.

After many years of gay news, blogs, photos, and more, OutZoneTV.com is closing...

Thanks for taking the time to answer peoples questions from time to time. It's always ufn to read.
Now get on to talking about Fashion Week!! I'm dying to hear everything. I read that all 4 of the PR designers got to show their collections, so their would be no spoilers. Isn't that kind of unfair? Hopefully you'll clear up all of that in your next post.
Love.

Daniel, in regards to "its a motherf***ing walkoff", i can't help but comment, this phrase has become my mantra. We are similar in age, and your confidence and comfort level among other designers (on camera - and assuredly off, as well) is addictive and inspiring. I know you are a recent design school grad, however i have bounced around and become some what of a fine arts/design gypsy, moving from ivy league, to the study of the fine arts, and now a pause, moving between private study and personal pursuit. Any advice on keeping my confidence level at it's potential high? Also, as a younger member of the design community, I need to know your secret, in having savvy commentary and poise, and not holding back when I need to let bitches know... "its a motherf***ing walk-off". PS, you tude was the best, and I hope your enjoying the benefits of being a gentlemen on the small screen, and under the tents, as well. You have inspired me, and I don't think this small blog-forum is vast enough to express this, hopefully, you know you have a massive fanbase, and also peers in the design community... who you have yet to meet!

Richard, he IS gay. See, he said that his friend, Anna, typed that for him. He's not really promised to any girl.

I follow PR from the beginning, I still think that from all the contestant that have participated you are the most talented and a "true" fashion designer, I would love to see your work and want to wish you all the best.

Hey Daniel.
I'm from Australia and i loved watching you on Project runway... not only for your mega-babe factor :) but i loved the show and i love fashion. You were my favourite.
I think it's really sweet how you do take some time from your life to read and reply to some of the comments and questions your fans have for you.
I wish you all the best with your career in fashion but i am curious to know, if you weren't where you are right now (living and career wise)... where do you see yourself? and what doing? I am still a highschool student and so very confused in what i want to do for the rest of my life. I have a passion for writing and for fashion -- so if my career could incorporate those things, it would be great. I was thinking maybe a 'fashion journalist' type thing. haha.
Im thinking, Vogue? haha.
What are your thoughts?
Much love. x

Hey Daniel :)
I was wondering, how can i put together a simple, yet fashionably stylish winter outfit without compromising on the comfort factor? I'll be going on a vacation to china (it will be winter by then) and since I live in a tropical country, I have no experience in this. Really hope you can help me out here.
p.s. Loved your designs in PR2. Truly talented. Looking forward to see your collections here in Asia. Take good care.
Lots of love, Mindy.
