It’s not that I’m ungrateful for all of the work and preparation that goes into Thanksgiving meals, the joy of seeing my extended family, or even eating absolutely amazing food like my mother’s homemade apple pie (no worries, recipe attached) … it’s just that when Thanksgiving comes around, all I can think about is how close Christmas is!
Its holiday foreplay and I can’t stand it any longer!
However, one of my more memorable Thanksgivings came four years ago … and it took place in New Jersey.
No, that’s not a typo and yes, I know what you are all thinking. My best friend Anna has extended family in Far Hills, New Jersey and because I’ve felt like an addition to her family for half my life, I was more than willing to take a much-needed day-off from Manhattan and make the trek to the countryside. So after trudging through the congested halls of Penn Station with about three thousand other holiday travelers attempting to keep their sanity while making their departure time, I boarded my train and settled in for the hour and half ride.
As time ticked by, the skyscrapers grew shorter and shorter and the trees more plentiful, until I found myself pulling up, to what appeared to be, a traditional English train stop comparable to King’s Cross… I loved it.
Anna’s Aunt Lisa was waiting for me as I exited the station, and pulled up in her oh-so-appropriate Volvo station wagon and wearing what had to be Ralph Lauren head to toe … again, I loved it.

Dear Daniel,
I wanted to tell you how much my 10 year old son Jordan admires you. He's asked me to try and locate an email address so he can write you himself. Not a week went by that he wasn't glued to the TV to watch Project Runway and he would shout at this season's finale every time the camera caught a glimpse of you. I don't know if you respond to these comments, but I would truly appreciate it if I could find a way for Jordan to corespond with you. When I ask him why he admires you so much, he tells me that you're one of his heroes because you work very hard, you try your best and never give up. Thank you so much for being a role model to my son.
Sincerely,
Teri Ann Ellis

Holiday foreplay ?!?!... Thats the funniest description of thanxgiving I have ever heard, and perhaps the most accurate. I would love to know how it feels to have a Wikipedia article dedicated to me, and do you ever google yourself ?...(I know its kind of a personal question, but I do it all the time... and I'm not even famous lol) You rock...bigtime...I'm straight and I can't help but have a man-crush on you.

Hi there!
In the last episode of Project Runaway 2, Michael Kors said something about if you ever need a job you can give him a call. Have you ever made the call? And can you see yourself working at Michael Kors?

A lot of people seem to be prety personal with these letters.. I Don't really understand that... anyway! ha, I thought you were great on Project Runway and I strongly think you obviously should have been the one to win, but oh well right? Anyway... kinda sad your gay... haha. And... I donno...you really seem like a nice, true person. THat's kinda rare. I think if you still want to you should definaly stil go on with the whole fashion thing! your kinda amazing.
