My favorite celebrity sighting in ages involves my friend Doug and the actress Faye Dunaway, who, incidentally once kept me waiting four hours for an Us Weekly interview.

Last week, my friend Doug attended a seminar on film producing. Why don’t I just let him tell the story…

I'm sitting there at this Forum for Indie Filmmakers, taking lots of notes (because I like to pretend that I'm a college student again like on that '80s sitcom with Mickey Rooney and Nathan Lane), when suddenly it came time for the Q & A part of the panel.

I was thankful I was there alone because these segments always provoke uncontrollable laughter due to the asinine questions that people ask. For example someone might ask, "Excuse me, how do I get Brad Pitt to read my script about Hitler in Space?"

So some guy stands up and asks his question (which must have been dull because I don't remember anything about it). But then after the Q is A, he refuses to give up the cordless microphone. Instead he says he has to make an announcement...
