He was good in "The Departed" but who is going to see "Blood Diamond"? Bad title, good subject, cheesy action, dumb effects. And Jennifer Connolly. Eww!!!

Anyway: the take away is that four films received seven nominations each for Critics' Choice Awards

BTW: Who are these "critics"? Not that we disagree with them, but .. it would be good to know.

''The Departed,'' ''Babel,'' ''Little Miss Sunshine'' and ''Dreamgirls'' have each collected seven nominations for the 12th annual Critics' Choice Awards. All four films got a nomination for best picture.

''The Queen'' collected four nominations, while ''Letters From Iwo Jima,'' ''Notes on a Scandal,'' ''Little Children'' and ''Charlotte's Web'' garnered three each.
