I am sitting at my computer in my cozy studio in Hollywood, CA -- the home of hair extensions, expensive gym memberships, and Paris Hilton (who I believe is considered California’s state bird).
I am armed and dangerous with my creative writing tools. These consist of an iced americano, chocolate cupcake, and my life partner, Sam. By life partner I mean dog (it’s platonic).
Seeing how this is my first blog, I think we should get to know each other, and I’ll go first. For those of you who haven’t read Bravo’s promotional bio about me here’s a quick outline.
I am originally from Seattle, WA, home of two of America’s favorite sweethearts: Courtney Love and the chai soy latte. I have a close-knit family which I will speak of often I am sure ... and I love jacket weather. At an early age I discovered I enjoyed being the center of attention -- so after a successful run in almost every community theatre in the greater Northwest region, I decided to move to Hollywood.
I quickly discovered that without the help of my high school drama teacher (who KNOWS talent when she sees it!) it was difficult to get cast in any leading roles that did not in some capacity require a fluffer. So I had some decisions to make.
It took a couple years of rejection and feedback from casting directors: “He plays a little soft for the role -- but I would love to take him out for a martini…” to make me realize that maybe this was not my calling. I was tired of waiting tables … hell, I was just tired of waiting, so I made a life change.

Hey Jesse,
I sort of have the same kind of passion you do. I love to cook, but baking is where it's at for me. I'm a vegetarian, so I don't eat the meat, (except one) haha, but I don't mind fixing it. Love bake though, and my long term goal is to own my own pastry shoppe specializing in cheese cake. Pretty much any type of cheese cake you can think of, I'll try it and make it. From sweet to savory. I already have a name and slogan picked out for it. It's cheesey though, pun intended! lol
Anywho, can't wait to read more about you and your experience. Also what kind of health food services do you have? Website or anything?
Jason :o)
