My friend Nola recently loaned me one of the greatest DVD collections ever made -- The Oprah Winfrey 20th Anniversary box set. Oh my Oprah, it was amazing!
I have never been an Oprah enthusiast before, knowing now that it was because I just never really watched the show. However, as soon as I put the first disc in -- there are six -- I couldn't stop watching.
This woman is amazing! Recently there has been a phenomenon surrounding the topic of "The law of attraction." If I am correct the basic idea is that whatever we think about and feel about, we bring about. The science of it states that at our root we are all energy -- just like everything in the world, so if we vibrate at a certain frequency, our energy attracts like energy, therefore manifesting itself in our current situation and bringing forth either all the good or negative events and things in our life.

I think unknowingly, Oprah has mastered that philosophy. Since the beginning of her life, if she wanted something- she created it ... just because she knew she could. Done and done. That is an amazing gift to have. She has defied almost every odd to achieve a life and career that most only dream of.
The quality I respect most about her is that she genuinely does what she does for the betterment of man (and woman) kind. There seems to be few out there that live their lives to enrich the lives of those around them. Oprah even surpasses that, she strives to enrich the lives of everyone in the world! ROCK N ROLL.

In my profession, the greatest joy I get is when someones spirits are lifted because of the results they have achieved thanks to my programs. The simplest thing like fitting back into the skinny jeans can actually shift someones life ... and if I can make that happen then I know I am successful.
So, Oprah's picture now resides on my bathroom mirror. When I get ready in the morning I am reminded of what it is I need to keep in the forefront of my actions- helping others simply to help. As I progress in my profession I shall try to follow her leadership and always be of service to those who need me.

And hey, if I can make the money she does, or more-so, when I make the money that she does, I have faith that I will put it to use in the same giving way she does. I have already started donating a percentage of my earnings to help others who need it more than I do.
Laugh if you want ... but be careful, because Mama O has my back, and you do not want to be on her bad side. Word.
Peace and Blessings, xxx, Jesse

Hi Jesse,
I was the same way when I got my copy of her special - disc after disc of pure inspiration. Just so you know, YOU inspire, too. I just started watching Workout (this season and last) and I'm overweight and I adore your positive energy. I have none of that in my life right now except for my precious angel children. So thank you. You may not be Oprah, but you bring a smile to my face. Tiff :)

Jesse, i wonder if you finally decided to choose to "get" over that interview that you obviously misunderstood BEFORE Doug passed away. I also wonder if it was really worth going back to attack him in print before getting clarification of what he meant in his interview.

I have just watched tonights show of "Work Out". I am very disappointed with you on the show. You opened your mouth before thinking. You should think (or ask before assuming) before you speak. I bet you wish you would have asked (you know who) before assuming what he was thinking when he made the statement. You were sure off base. But now it's to late.

Jesse,
I love her too. She's an inspiration to all. She's not selfish with her money like the women on the OC. She takes her money and gives back to her community, other countries in poverty, her workers, and she expects nothing in return. She's like a saint on earth.

Jesse,
OMG you fell into the dreadful marketing ploy of that dumb "Secret" DVD & book. Don't get trapped into that stuff. Thinking positive and spirituality is one thing (and great) but "wishing for cars" and then "magically" getting them after you "pray" is another thing. The DVD is a joke. Saw it on you tube. See it but don't pay for it like they want. The secret of the "Secret" is making yet another buck off of our dreams.

Shay,
The 'Secret' gimick as you so put it is actually based on the Hermetic principles of the Ancient Egyptians, written by Hermes Trismegustus/Thoth and appears in Greek literature aswell. Many of the most brilliant minds and creators of our era understood this principle and have attributed their success to it. It is not about 'wishing' and 'getting', but understanding that our thoughts and mind are our most powerful tool to create anything.
Cheers,Adam
