Jasmine's story hit home for me. Our 25 year old daughter, Kim, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer last fall. She, too, had to have her entire thyroid removed. In fact, she went through two surgeries and has been through the radio-active iodine treatment once. She goes through ablazion therapy soon. Her body has been through the ringer since the surgeries. She, too, has no energy, her moods are all over the place and she is exhausted by can't sleep. She's on hormone replacements, but that's still being balanced out.
Apparently, the Gulf Coast is known as Cancer Alley because of the industrial plants. We were told this after her diagnosis. 'Wonderful' information to have at that point.
Please know that Jasmine, you and her family are in my thoughts and prayers.She sang beautifully at the game. I can see your love for each other.
