Oh, Deenie

I have to say that I am glad to be over last week's episode. I have decided not to comment on Brian Peeler's dismissal. All I will say is that I feel like it was a shame how the entire situation went down. I suppose, as it is said often around these parts, it makes for good TV, right? (I feel icky even saying that!)

Onward and upward ...

So, the retreat. It was a beautiful ocean-side resort that Jackie chose this year. I loved the atmosphere ... the only thing that was missing was my beautiful boyfriend... no offense to my co-workers, but I greatly prefer to see his face first thing in the morning.

We kicked the Sky Labbers asses. There was no fancy editing or television magic ... those poor clients were beat to living heck I tell ya! LIVING HECK. I feel as though this is the time to re-iterate the fact that I absolutely adore my client, Natalie. Her heart and drive through this entire process inspired me ... and I know it will inspire you too ... keep your eyes on this one!

Poor Deenie. That girl is battling some serious demons. Over and over again she would sabotage herself and those around her. She is the hardest client to work with, one who gets attention by acting negatively. The more she acted out, the more she created the need to acknowledge her ... this is her pattern, and God willing, we will see a transformation occur there too! Good Luck Greg!

As for the trainers ... get ready to see some skin ... some gin ... and some ... um ... well ... actually mostly just skin and cocktails .... My fellow trainers really know how to make a good show. Keep watching -- it only gets better!

Peace and Love, Jesse

I would act out too if my trainer tried to make me run on wet sand with a badly sprained ankle instead of adapting the exercise (pool? bike? upper body workout instead?) so that I wouldn't tear my ligaments further. Deenie was totally in the right on that one...she might have made excuses about other things, but the trainers looked worse for not accommodating an injury! It made the trainers look stupid and irresponsible.

Dearest Jesse: Thanks for being one bright light left on this show; as i have said it before and will dare to repeat myself.....I wish I had U for a trainer; I do have to admit though,Your upbeat demeanor and Brian Peeler's tenacity would morph into personal trainer perfection.....Take care of you and stay cool......
