Ladies and gents! Today I went to an event for Susan Sarandon so I saw the episode on Tivo. Menswear! I am so jealous. I have been dying to launch a men's line. I make all of my own clothes, except for a few pieces of YSL I love to wear.
I see some familiar faces in the male models from when we were casting at fashion week. Good choice, producers. I have never seen Heidi blush on the show... hehe!

There are three looks I really want for Christmas: I want Rami's jacket, Kevin's entire look, and Jillian's suit. She even welded the pockets... Genius! One thing I did before I went into the women's business was learn to create men's suiting. I create all of my own looks. It is very difficult compared with womens because it's like building a full couture gown from the base up. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Jack, and anyone who is going through what he is! I do charity work with many different organizations during the year that benefit AIDS and HIV related charities. Elisa is really starting to impress me with her work, and that braided seam on the inside of that waistcoat was beautiful.
Darlings a martini is in order! Its the second episode! I remember this moment... After the first elimination where everyone gets so sad to see the first leave. It was after that moment that we realised we could be next. Quite sadly, I was the next one to go...
The second episode of Runway brought one of my favourite people SJP or as America knows her Sarah Jessica Parker. I had the opportunity to meet her and her lovely husband many years ago before I was on Runway. I am so happy they brought her to the show. She is humble, kind, and did you see her face when Marion was being eliminated? That must have been very hard for her. I love Sarah's sincerity, she is so peaceful as a person.
Chris is so sweet and that model decision is difficult. I remember how hard it was for all of us last season. I think this season it's easier, they have really good models.
Ricky's banter about ("me... me... me... and my model') was really sort of ...well, kind of a yawn! Circa season two. Darling, its not about "catty gets a model." This group is more concerned about the work. Which I admire so much.
Thank god they did not have to dress a pageant girl this season. I do love a good pageant. (Especially the Aqua-net, a secret I learned about just recently from a drag queen. My hair has not moved since Halloween!)
The talent this season is amazing! Who will be the next designer to win the prize.I must say Rami's draping is lovely. I am so intrigued by fellow drapers. I love Adrian who was a genius in draping he made Joan Crawford's four foot frame look like a six foot goddess.
I wonder what the next episodes will bring. My favourite quote for the evening, "I am going to have to measure you with my hands!" I will be using that as my new pick up line. (As soon as I grow chest hair and a gold chain to go with it).
